If you didn’t get a chance this year yet to head for the mountains, there is still time. The leaves have just started to change and there are many festivals here in the fall from the Sorghum Festival, Fall festival at the Folk School, & the Pumpkin Chunkin Festival. The videos just can’t capture the distance or speed of the pumpkin, but one yesterday went way over 2000 ft. Come visit Naduhli Lodge on Lake Nottely and explore all the North GA and Western NC mountains have to offer. Our area was fortunately spared in the recent damage from Hurricane Helene. We are thankful and thinking of those who weren’t as lucky. Happy fall y’all.
