US government officials recently announced that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may consider dropping the 3.4-ounce liquid rule for carry-on luggage.

Thanks to new CT scanning tech, full-size liquids can now be screened safely at many airport security checkpoints without removing them from your bag.

Just in: Shoe removal at US airport security is officially a thing of the past! 👟✈️

The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that the TSA is ending its almost 20‑year rule requiring travelers to take off their shoes when passing through security checkpoints.

Thanks to upgraded scanners, Real ID enforcement, and layered security protocols, you can now walk through with your kicks on, though shoes may still need to be removed if additional screening is needed.

And… What does that mean for travelers with TSA PreCheck?
PreCheck members still have exclusive perks like keeping belts and jackets on and leaving laptops (and other large electronics) in their bags.
