A big myth about Disney vacations??
Is that your kids will outgrow it...
I've found over the years, as my own children have become adults, that Disney is constantly changing as they change. When your kids are adults, like mine and many of yours, the magic just looks a little differently... It's laughing, it's inside jokes, it's sharing memories, it's riding the attractions, it's staying up late and sleeping in, it's the FOOD, it's ME watching them and just taking them all in... and for a few days, everyone puts down their phones and is just present.
Do they still believe? Hmmm, well, not in the same way they did when they were 5, 7 and 8.... BUT, YES, they definitely believe in the stories, they definitely feel the nostalgia, and they definitely feel the feels of Disney.
I love this picture that was just snapped quickly in a magical moment. I had surprised Addy and her friend with 1900 Park Fare breakfast purely for her friend to meet Tiana (which was fabulous). This little moment with Cinderella was precious (the body language and how they looked at her) and the couple of minutes where we all held our wishes in our hands, was adorable how they both held their wish up together and listened intently to the 'show'.
Disney is one of the few places where our kids, REGARDLESS of age, are willing to step back into the MAGIC and just let it all happen.
