Three things that we might consider Disney Cruise Line 'splurges' that I would definitely do again!

Palo brunch onboard the Disney Wish is an absolute must-do... and honestly, I would book another cruise TODAY just to experience it all over again! ...From the second you walk into the elegant, adults-only dining room, the entire experience feels like pure luxury. The service is incredibly attentive, the ocean views are stunning, and starting the meal with a fun round of refreshing mimosa sets the perfect 'upscale' tone. (Which, btw, the first round of mimosas were complimentary for my birthday - LOVE that.) It was/is hands-down the best meal on the cruise! While the whole menu is spectacular, these two dishes stole the show for me... Lasagna Bolognese: Forget any lasagna you've had before. This is ultra-rich/still airy and light, perfectly layered, and absolutely melts in your mouth. Warm Amaretto Chocolate Fondant Cake: The ultimate dessert. It’s warm, decadent, and that rich lava chocolate brings a whole new magical level. On your next DCL adventure, do not skip out on booking a Palo brunch slot. I'm still dreaming about it.

Walked into my bedroom tonight and was hit with the reality that there are towels on the floor, my phone charger is NOT rolled into a perfectly velcroed circular wrap, there are zero chocolates on my pillow, no fun towel animals to be found, and room service options are nonexistent. Zero magic. 0/10

It’s the little things that make Disney Cruise Line feel so magical… and, once you’re home, you notice the absence!

Our stateroom was perfect for the four of us! DCL staterooms are so spacious and comfortable! Having a split bath, raised beds, lots of shelves and storage spots, etc are huge perks for families and Disney has that figured out… and of course the sweet Tiana touches in our room are to be noted too…

And sadly we had our last night, just like that! We hit our favorite spots, saw Aladdin, dined at Worlds of Marvel, and then spent the rest of the time at Luna playing games… Aladdin was as expected, our favorite show… it’s truly up there with Beauty and the Beast. Spectacular! And the food at WoM was also our favorite (which we were so hungry that I only got a sundae picture)! But we loved everything, especially the Pasta and Gnocchi.

We’re so sad that it’s over but we had a magical time and loved every minute! What a special little getaway it was! 🩷 And not to worry, I booked my Placeholder, as recommended by my travel agent!
