Celebrate spring at the annual Renaissance Jamboree in downtown Bloomsburg this Saturday! A completely outdoor event held on Main and Market Streets, Renaissance Jamboree features 150+ craft/info vendors and delicious food from area non-profits. Enjoy FREE entertainment, kiddie rides, and games. Free parking with shuttle service will be available from the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds.

🍃 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗛 𝗗𝗔𝗬! 🌱

If you can't get out to clean up today, join us this Saturday along with the Montour Area Recreation Commission for a relatively easy 2.6 mile-long guided walk around the Hess Recreation Area's Hess Loop Trail, followed by a park litter cleanup! 🥾♻️

The walk will begin at 9:00am at the Hess Recreation Area's pavilion, located at 843 Meadow Lane, Danville, and will conclude by roughly 11am. The litter cleanup event will immediately follow.
This event is family friendly and leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is no fee to participate and no registration is required.

Those who would like to assist with the litter cleanup event are asked to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Please dress for the weather. The litter cleanup will begin immediately after the guided walk and will conclude by no later than 1pm.

𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗜-𝟴𝟬/𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝟰𝟮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗺𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆

Motorists are advised that overnight ramp closures continue on Interstate 80 at Exit 232 (Route 42 / Buckhorn) in Hemlock Township, Columbia County. This project is part of a multi-year reconstruction and resurfacing project on Interstate 80 in Columbia County.

On Thursday, April 17, 2025, the contractor will continue work on the entrance and exit ramps at the Interstate 80 / Route 42 interchange (Exit 232 / Buckhorn). Motorists can expect the below closures.

𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀
• Interstate 80 west exit ramp to Route 42 will be closed.
o A detour using Exit 236 (Route 487/Bloomsburg), Route 487 south (Lightstreet Road), Route 11 south (Main Street) in the Town of Bloomsburg, Route 42 north, will be in place.

• Interstate 80 west entrance ramp from Route 42 north will be closed.
o A detour using Interstate 80 east, Exit 236 (Route 487/Bloomsburg), Interstate 80 west, will be in place.

Work includes milling of the interchange ramps, paving, and line painting. Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for stopped or slow-moving vehicle, and drive with caution.

New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co., Inc. is the prime contractor for this $11.1 million reconstruction and resurfacing project. Work includes shoulder reconstruction, roadway resurfacing, structure preservation, signing, and other miscellaneous work. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed in June of 2025.

Love Led Zeppelin or Lord of the Rings? Or both!? This show is for you! Celebrate a new album release from Knorrwood with a special show at the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble. You'll have two chances to catch the show, with performances set for Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17.

This special performance will guide attendees on an epic journey through Middle Earth. Featuring an expanded 6-piece band, Knorrwood will deliver a magical blend of musical covers and themes from the movie trilogy. Most importantly, the event celebrates the official release of Knorrwood’s debut album and will therefore also feature original music throughout the show! Visit Rock God Brewing Company this Saturday, April 19 to see Rapid Run perform from 6-9 PM for Rock God's 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!

Rapid Run is Central Pennsylvania’s premier acoustic classic rock group. Armed with the American Dream and a GI loan for $500, Bernard Ciampi set out to found a new business to help supply restaurants in the region. In those early days, the business was small, initially selling only surplus toilet paper and mop sticks! Over the next decades, Bernard worked to establish his operation and progressively expand both its size and its commercial product selection. He was aided by his son, Pete, who spent a 50-year career fostering the family dream before passing the reins over to his son, Bernie, who still runs the business today. The 2025 Spring Beaver Run Auction will be held on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟵. 📅📌

This is a popular auction-style sale with antiques, furniture, quilts, building materials, farm equipment, crafts, flowers, plants, livestock and more typically available for sale. Admission is free for the event, which is held on the grounds of the Beaver Run Amish School, just north of Washingstonville. Money raised in the auction benefits the Beaver Run School and several other Amish schools in the area.
