Our most recent review, July 2014:

"Excellent Stay"
Bearadise was a perfect place for our recent stay in Blowing Rock for a family reunion. The house has been remodeled and is perfect for a family mountain stay. Nice updated bathrooms, gorgeous kitchen, comfy beds, fluffy (and plentiful) towels and a basement with foosball and video games for the youngsters (and not so youngsters). We loved that such a nice house was pet-friendly too since that is often a difficult combination to find. Our pup loved having a nice backyard to run around in and being able to lounge on the large deck. Overall, I'd say the pictures don't really do the house justice! We'd absolutely go back and wholeheartedly recommend it!

Our latest review has us feeling all warm and fuzzy this cold first Winter:

"Perfect Ski Vacation: We can't wait to stay at Bearadise again! The view of Appalachain Ski Mountain from the front porch was fun and festive at night. We really enjoyed having a backyard and its gorgeous view! We chose to drive to App Ski Mtn because of the age of our kids, but teaching them to ski and being so close to "home" was priceless! I can't imagine skiing again and not being that convenient to the slopes. The house was well appointed and we really didn't need to bring anything but clothes. The heat worked great for us, which was important because we were there on one of the coldest nights of the year. We have three children and they loved their bedroom, the playroom and even the family room couch! Next time we hope to invite another family to join us because we were surprised how spacious it was based on the pictures. Next time we will bring our own firewood, so we won't have to leave Bearadise at all!!"
