It’s sad to think we only have a month of winter steelhead season left, before I know it days like this will be just memories of fun times had with friends, But with that being said we still have some great dates available before it’s over! 4 inches of rain, 3 days of hard fishing, 2 different rivers, 1 beautiful steelhead to the net for 11 year old Bennett. Winter steelhead fishing isn’t always sunshine and rainbows like social media makes it out to be, but every rain drop that fell, every mile we drove and every fish we lost made this moment that much more memorable!

With the local salmon closure I spent an extra month at for their coho season, and it was nothing short of epic!

Even though the adult salmon quota is met on the lower Klamath there is still some great fishing to be had, it’s not to late to escape the heat and come experience the peak of run. If your looking to keep a salmon we will be transitioning into drift boat trips on the lower trinity, with the increased flows I expect some excellent fishing to be had. Give us a call!
