The house is a 5 bedroom, 3 bath log home on Lake Blue Ridge, just under a quarter mile to private lake access. Is hiking your thing? Need more? Oh no! Oh well.

It sleeps up to 12- perfect for an extended family gathering or becoming reacquainted with old friends. There's plenty to do outdoors in the vast National Forests, in the quaint town of Blue Ridge, or even if you're stuck inside on a rainy day. The many rivers of the area offer some of the best canoeing, kayaking, rafting and tubing in the Southeast. Whether you just want to float quietly downstre

am or you want a challenge, you have it within minutes of the house. There are numerous trails from an easy 3 mile loop, to 17 miles of scenic, but strenuous trails through the famous Aska Adventure Area. The Rich Mountain and the Cohutta Wilderness areas are just a few minutes to the west and northwest, respectively. The town of Blue Ridge offers fine dining and interesting shops along the downtown area. It's pouring outside! Challenge your friend to a game of foosball, just like you did in your college years. Or sit and relax with a drink on one of our 3 covered porches. We also have plenty of DVDs and board games to occupy a few hours. Need to know more? Not sure how we feel about this particular rebranding. 😏

Say hello to our new logo! As earlier announced this year, we are working on a new visual style for the Grumpy Old Men Brewing brand. With new can artwork being released later this year, we’ve decided as a company that it was time we also changed our logo too.

We feel that we have outgrown the Grumpy Old Man. Furthermore, we don’t even have that many Grumpy Old Men on staff anyway, and therefore feel that the brand no longer reflects the core values of the brewery. We feel that the Happy Young Man exemplifies who we are as beer producers much more productively.

We understand that many of you feel connected to, or represented by the Grumpy Old Man. We apologize if this news comes as a disappointment to you, but we hope that you will welcome this change with open arms.

We thank you for all the support and encouragement in this rebranding process and wish you a very happy April Fool’s Day!🍻

Here's a nice, scenic trail that's suitable for the very young to older hikers. It has fun little scrambles off the side of the trail to satisfy the more adventurous. Consider bringing a swim suit for a cool down dip at the base of the falls!

Some of the best trout fishing in the area is right at this trail head as well.

Long Creek Falls via Appalachian Trail is a 1.9 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Blue Ridge, Georgia that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels.
