It’s a beautiful spot to visit. Yes it’s a long day and there will be some road miles, but there are way more trail miles that roadway. 🌿Pinnacle Rock State Park was opened in 1938 as the fifth oldest West Virginia State Park to preserve the unique geologic history of this area. The Conservation Commission began construction during the New Deal Era with the Works Progress Administration (WPA) building the stone picnic shelter, an overlook and more.

🌳Today, the day park consists of 374 acres, a 15-acre lake, and seven miles of trails. Find this park in Mercer County in between Bluefield and Bramwell, along Route 52. Learn more here ➡https://bit.ly/4c0utHu

Welcome to Bluewell, WV!! Located appox. 20 min from Exit 1 on Interstate 77 and less than 10 min (3 miles) to the Pocahontas Trail System which leads to Indian Ridge, Pinnacle Creek, and Warrior Trail Systems.

Bluewell, with a population less than 3000 gets it’s name from being located in between Bluefield and Bramwell WV. No need to truck n trail… unload and ride!!!
There is a locally owned grocery store, Grants, a Dollar General Market, and a Family Dollar. We also have 2 gas/convenience stores. Some local restaurants include Lynne’s Drive-In, Grill Shack, and Buffalo Trail. Nearby Bramwell has The Corner Shop, Casa Familia, and Honeycomb.
It’s just a great lil town. Here’s to safe travels and hopes you allow us to show you a lil piece of Appalachia.
