Happy Mother’s Day to Mom who was the OG Travel Agent in our family. Every summer we would take elaborate summer vacations that always involved an overnight boat trip from our island to Manila, enrichment classes, sightseeing of the major highlights of the Philippines 🇵🇭, cultural events etc. I don’t know how she pulled it off in those days pre-internet but she did and we’re all the better for it.

Happy Mom’s Day to all of you who know how terribly confusing, sometimes exhausting but eternally rewarding it is to be a Mom. ❤️❤️❤️

From the moment you step into the 25 room 5* Virtuoso boutique hotel you’re immediately surrounded by tropical palms and birds of paradise. Walking through grass to reach our Jr Suite Garden with Vineyard Views was also transportive.

• Villa Cosy is open year round - the only hotel in Saint Tropez to do so
• It is a mere 10min walk (if you’re me) to reach Place de Lices
• Daily Continental Breakfast is included anytime you want and can be served at your room (we opted for this, what a treat)
• The outdoor pool is heated
• Espace Zen for a private whirlpool bath sesh was heaven sent
• Alex and team can organize anything for guests: winery visits, boat excursions etc
• They also have a 7-bedroom villa nearby
• The Spa has a Hamam (my preference), Sauna and treatment rooms. I got a Sothys facial - divine and much needed pampering.

Mostly I really loved coming back to this tropical oasis after a full day of exploring. Because it felt zen and cosy - like its name promises ❤️❤️❤️

A privilege to attend the pre-opening of Toulouse-Lautrec exhibit at in

I mostly know the artist in association with Moulin Rouge but was enlightened to see more of his works. When viewing his portraits of the “Demi-monde” I drew a comparison to Pedro Almodovar and how they both capture women sometimes brutally honest but always with dignity.

Plus it was a treat to be in the garden afterwards for the cocktail party to people watch, chase down the beef tartare and soak in our final day at Aix.

Fragrance Workshop in the heart of Aix at is an Aix-ceptionnelle experience. Spend an hour and half discovering yourself with questions like:
• what smell reminds you of your childhood?
• what is the cardinal sin that characterizes you the most?

I highly recommend this activity - you leave with your custom 100ml eau de parfum ❤️ and they will keep your perfume recipe so you can reorder it.

Founded in 2012, this store can be found only in Aix and but available at stockists worldwide. Several of the 5* Provençal hotels I visited carry this brand.
