Cobblestone Park Golf Club in Blythewood, SC sponsored a Clothing Drive with Palmetto Thrift Store for the local Children with Cancer (an organization called Children's Chance). Our Members and Employees were given the opportunity to donate their clothes, books and furniture. Wow!! What a wonderful turnout. Take a look at a few of the pictures that were taken. We filled up an entire van! Anyone that participated received pizza for lunch. Just remember, you can have lots of fun and help lots of people in the process.

DUTCHESS GOLF CLUB:
The theme of Earth Day 2013 is The Face of Climate Change. This campaign seeks to harness the power of Earth
Day to personalize the massive challenge that climate change presents, while uniting people around the globe
into a powerful call to action. Earth Day Network is collecting images of people, animals, an d places affected by
climate change, as well as images of people doing their part in the fight against climate change. On and around
Earth Day (April 22), an interactive digital display of all the images will be shown at thousands of events around
the world — from schools to parks to government buildings. The display will also be made available online to

Terry Harnage at Cobblestone was chosen to take place in “Atlanta’s Biggest Loser” sponsored by Northside Hospital, Good Measure Meals, and 11Alive News. The show has been airing on Wednesdays at 11:00am during the Atlanta & Company show. In fact, at our first weigh in this past week he was the biggest loser of pounds and percentage!!

First week’s numbers have been turned in and good job everyone! Not sure what they are doing out at Crystal Lakes but 3 of their guys are in the lead. Head Golf Pro Allen Thompson told us that they have started with an easy change – eliminating carbs. Good Job Guys! And it’s a battle of the sisters out at The Georgia Club with Mallory and Morgan posting impressive first week results. Sibling rivalry pays off!
