Landing in Inchon, Seoul’s International Airport, will rival most large airports. The drive into Seoul brought a reminder of just how close it is to the DMZ. Arriving in another time zone opposite of your Interbankl body clock I like to fet some steps in. After checking into the hotel and a quick refreshing shower I headed to Seolleung Jeongneung park. The price for entry into the park was 1000 South Korean Won, about 68 cents which is well worth it for the tranquility the park offers in a busy city. Seolleung Jeongneung is a World Heritage site and the burial place of King Seolleung and his Queen Jeongneung who were both laid to rest in the late 1400’s. Seoul will rival any of the great cities of the world, it’s safe, thr people are friendly, and it’s incredibly clean. Seoul is also becoming a tourist destination because of its affordabliility and attractions. Stay tuned for more about Seoul in the coming days and don’t forget, when you are ready to travel RuckSac Adventures is ready to go to work for you.
