Where are you headed to next?

I get a ton of emails a day detailing which flight routes are on sale. If you let me know below where you're from and where you'd like to go, I'll come back here and tell you if I see any of those routes for cheap!

Here's a quick breakdown of how we are doing Paris on points. (See two posts back.)

🏰 First, the Disney hotel and park tickets I have mentioned previously. We booked on a deal where we got park tickets and one night for free. That was directly through the Disneyland Paris website. That saved us bucketloads. Check a few posts back to see how adding one night would have cost more than our entire stay there!

πŸ—Ό Finding hotels in Paris that can accommodate 4 people has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. Seriously. My initial plan was to use my Amex SPG sign up points, but there are literally no hotels that I can use points on that have a room that can accommodate 4. What I ended up doing was transferring these points to Marriott since they're partners at a 1:3 ratio. I was then able to book a family suite for 90,000 points and $200. The $200 will be charged at check in, but erased using our Capital One Venture.

✈️ Because I knew the exact dates we needed for this trip, I set up a Google Flights alert so that I would be emailed when the price dropped. However, I actually saw Scott's Cheap Flights post about $350 round trip flights before I saw it on Google. We then booked flights to get from where we are to JFK, which is where the $350 flights were.

🏣 Our first night in France we're staying at a different hotel (I discussed this a few posts back) and we're getting this for free because I erased the charge using our Capital One Venture. I booked on Hotels For Everyone (which I'm really hoping is legit because I've never used it!), which means that we're getting family bunk bed suite and breakfast included for the same price that I would have paid for a regular room and no breakfast.

🌟 Because we have a wonky flight schedule coming home and because I'm a wimp and don't feel like spending the night in an airport with two little kids, we are getting a hotel close to JFK on the way back. This will allow us to sleep for about 7 hours before catching our return flight home. This was free with IHG promo points that we earned by staying in IHG hotels this summer while we moved.

Make sense? Any questions? Ready to get started? Let me help!

We leave for Paris in two weeks! ✈️ This will be our first time to France and the girls' first time out of the country. I think the stress is subconsciously running high over here ;)

Anyway, I've just reviewed our budget and here is what we have spent (you'll see that it's far from free). But I also have kept track of how much we would have spent. So far, we've saved $5626.62!

If you have any questions about how we specifically spent/saved, let me know!

Anyone planning on going to Disney this year?! The $200 offer is back!

Offer: This time it's a little different. Instead of a $200 gift card, it shows up as a $200 statement credit. This actually makes for a more flexible offer, because you could book your entire trip third party and not have to worry about using the gift card elsewhere. Or, you don't even have to use it for anything Disney related at all since it applies directly to your account. Either way, it's an amazing deal for such a low spend.

Terms: No annual fee. $500 minimum spend in 3 months.

Questions: Just ask! Y'all know that I'm Disney obsessed and cheap travel obsessed. Someday this will be my "real" job. ;)

P.S. Feel free to tag anyone who might be interested. I'm seriously so happy to answer any questions you might have. I answer lots of questions via PM if people aren't comfortable asking here.
