Pine Island Sound rarely disappoints and today wasn’t any different. John and Mike came down from Illinois on a two day trip to pull on something a little stronger than a crappie. What an amazing morning on the water with an awesome family on vacation from Pennsylvania. Reeled in some beautiful upper and over slot redfish from the bushes. Snook, grouper, snapper, and jack crevalle kept them busy in between. A first time trip to Cabbage Key is also a must. Topped off the day by making me jealous with what looked like a chef prepared blackened redfish with fresh mango pineapple salsa over cilantro lime rice. It doesn’t get any fresher than that.
