We are two adventurous families who love to travel, and it brings us so much joy to help others gain these experiences and memories with their loved ones. The company was founded by Steve and Greg, who met during their MBA program 12 years ago and have been close friends since. In 2019, they hatched a plan to invest in vacation rentals, and convinced their wives, Molly and Elena, to jump in. Durin

g the downtime of the Pandemic, the families found their first property in Pigeon Forge, TN and Wanderlust Properties was born. Molly and Steve live in Brooklyn, NY with their two kids (9 and 6 years old). City living is awesome, but they love getting out on the road and seeing the country. This past Spring Break, they did an RV trip to all the National Parks in Arizona. This summer, they are visiting the Rocky Mountains, and going on some adventures in Moab, Utah. Elena and Greg live in Madison, WI with their two kids (5 and 3 years old). We enjoy sharing our vacation properties with others. Let us know what you loved about your stay in your review. Our process is to find locations and properties that we would love to stay at ourselves on a regular basis (which we do), and are conducive to families. You will notice our properties tend to be away from the main entertainment areas in our markets, opting for quieter locales, but still close enough to easily access the amenities of the area. We stock our houses with games and toys, and try to provide recommendations for fun family activities. Our philosophy is simple: we ask ourselves what would be our family's needs in this house? Then go from there. This is truly a family business. Everyone does a bit of the work, including the kids! They love going through their old books and toys to donate to the houses, help get the houses ready to rent, and the older ones are even helping with some basic accounting and digital work. Those Minecraft skills are coming in handy! But enough about us. How can we help you?

Why Riviera Paradise - Bolivar Peninsula, TX is a great place to observe migratory birds headed north this time of year.

Back for another season - Skatutakee!

Skatutakee is one of our longest tracked broadwings in our study. She was trapped and banded in June 2022 and has continued to amaze us with her migratory movements.

Each year Skatutakee leaves her breeding territory (in July-early August) and heads north to Québec, Canada. She spends a few weeks in the region before departing for autumn migration.

The map shows the last four autumn migrations including Skatutakee's movements from her nest site in New Hampshire, USA to her post-breeding grounds in Québec, Canada and down into her wintering area in Bolivia and Peru.

➡️ In 2022, she initiated autumn migration on 14 September and arrived in Tujuhahuíra, Bolivia on 12 November.

➡️ In 2023, she left on 13 September and settled farther north in Inca, Peru by 19 November.

➡️ In 2024, she flew south on 11 September and arrived in Cascajo, Bolivia (a little later than usual) on 8 December.

➡️ In 2025, she started her migration from Québec on 12 September and by 12 November she settled in a new wintering site in Suapi, Bolivia.
