What a fun day! Fun, awesome family this morning and folks from all out west and around the country this afternoon. We did both my most fun things to do , get some kids on some fish and the second trip We got out in the ocean and did a little run and gun. Long day but so much fun and we’re gonna do it again tomorrow.  By the way did I say thank you for following my page? I hope you’re enjoying the pictures and the storytelling. We are enjoying doing it

Fun fishing today. No trophies but some catching still and wow the heat. I am 90% Gatorade right now.

We had to go to Plan B and plan C today. Plan A was to get out in the ocean, but the slight chop that little wind chop was just too much to make it fun. So we turned around and did a few other things. Really was a great day with young people on the boat Two trips, one out of Holden Beach one out of Bald Head Island It is a real joy to get little kids fired up on Fishing. We’re patting ourselves on the back today and I’m sure the parents and grandparents are as well. Thanks for booking!

Lucky frog rode to work with me this morning. BSL frogs are like dogs barking outside the front door. Anyway we rigged up for ocean fishing and it payed off. All week is looking good for the ocean and if you book and the weather changes you’ll get full deposit refunded. Wish I had video of the barracuda that sky’d 10’ in the air. I yelled omg so loud I think they thought something was wrong. Fun trip.

Fishing was kind of slow for us today, but we had a ball nonetheless. One young man’s first time fishing and he caught on quick, the first trip was an awesome family from the harbor and I believe this is a spotted eagle ray we caught, maybe somebody can help me identify it. We’re gonna be venturing into the ocean this week now that the wind is calming down so no telling what pictures are coming up the next few post. stay tuned.

This week looking great for near shore trips. We can get in the ocean and go after sharks, king mackerel, cobia we can get out to the nearshore reefs if anybody wants to this week. I’ve got Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons available at littlesecretcharters.com.

We have room for 10 more junior anglers for the 2025 Youth Fishing Tournament! To reserve your spot, please send an email to [email protected] with your child's first/last name and age. Youth anglers must be between 6-15 years of age.

Competition will be open to fish anywhere in Brunswick County with proper parental supervision. Head to the beach, pier, dock, river, pond, or boat to reel in the big (or little) one!

Schedule of Events:

Thursday, June 19th @ 6:30pm
All Participants MUST meet at the club to have a parent or guardian sign a participation waiver.

Friday, June 20th and Saturday, June 21st:
Fishing!

Sunday, June 22nd:
Fishing! Lines out at 11AM!!!
12:00pm - Lunch (Pizza)
12:30pm - Awards

All participants will be going home with some awesome new gear to help them become better anglers! We hope to see you there!

I have availability Monday, Wednesday and Thursday this week. People are asking about these dates and the rain Forecast is looking better each day!! Book them up while they’re available if you’d like to go for a boat tour - Oak Island, Holden Beach, Ocean Isle !! 30+ years experience boating in the area and I bring a mate with me for fishing trips.
