😷🤧The last time I got Covid it was over fast. 24hr bug. Well the real deal is back. These new FLIRT variants don’t play around. I started having sinus issues on the cruise but felt fine. It’s totally normal for me to feel stuffy or something when I change environments. We flew home the same day we got off the ship. Layover caused it to take most the day but I still felt fine. Just super tired (I assume) from staying up til 2 with Joey then up at 6. Got home around 8, unpacked a little, but pretty much went to bed. I woke up a couple times trying to gag up drainage in my throat, but still just tired with sinus issues. Then I see on an Icon fb group that several people had Covid. Symptoms-sinus problems. 😢I had a test in the closet so I used it. POSATIVE. 😩Joey got up soon after and asked for medicine. I could hear in his voice he was sick. Tested him. POSATIVE. 🤧 We both slept as much as we could yesterday but I felt things getting worse each time I got up. Headache like a balloon. Couldn’t for the life of me get out the mucas. In my throat, nose, head, chest. Nose is congested and stuffy, but leaking. Try to blow it and my head wants to explode. Try to spit it up but throat is too sore. Did laundry all day but mine is stacked. Every time I’d get dry clothes out of the top to fold my arms felt so heavy and would shake. Then I noticed I’d get dizzy just walking to the kitchen. I’ve tried several kinds of medication but today called my Dr. because nothing helps and I seem to just get worse. I wanted to put out this psa in case you (like me) thought you could go back to normal in public. Not. Worth. It. Wash hands. Mask up. Clean surfaces. Don’t share things that go in your hands or mouths. Our cruise was like Covid never even happened. Buffet was serve yourself with tongs. People were skipping the hand washing. All seating was open next to each other. We shared the microphone in games and karaoke without wiping it down. Back. To. Normal. Now a ton of us have Covid. I’ll let you know what Dr gives me and if it helps. Until then- don’t expect me to do anything. I’m out. (So is Joey) 🤧😞😴😷😭🤧😓🤒 🙏
