What a wonderful afternoon at the Visit Boone County Annual Luncheon! We had a great crowd join us for an afternoon of fellowship, recognition, and an incredibly powerful message from our guest speaker, Aaron Thomas.
Aaron shared his family’s heartbreaking experiences with the devastating Parkersburg tornado and the tragic loss of his father. But beyond the tragedies themselves, his story was about how he and his family chose to respond, persevere, and move forward. His message was truly inspiring and encouraged us all to remember the importance of family, resilience, perspective, and being proud of where you come from. Thank you, Aaron, for sharing your incredible story and reminding us how much our response to life’s challenges matters!
A special thank-you to Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Boone for hosting our luncheon and helping make it such a great event. We also appreciate Amy from Travel Iowa making the trip to join us!
