I did it!
When I broke my hip 14 years ago, I thought my skiing days were over. I used to love going to Colorado for spring break. But after my hip replacement in June, my doctor said I could try it again, as long as I don’t go crazy.
So last night, my son and I went to Seven Oaks Recreation in Boone, Iowa.
I went really slow for a while but quickly realized it was just like riding a bike. I never fell and had a blast doing something with my son I thought I might never get to experience.
