Welcome back to another Fun Fact Friday! This week's subject: the Harbor Porpoise!
Harbor porpoises are small, only growing to around 5 feet in length and weighing upwards of 170 pounds. On our trips, these small cetaceans can be seen individually, or in pods of up to 10 individuals!

Did you know that puffins have barbs on the inside of their bills to help them in carrying multiple fish at once? On average, they can carry around 10 fish at a time!

A harbor seal basking in the sun! ☀️
This one may be taking a moment to rest, but did you know that harbor seals can travel at speeds of up to 12 miles per hour? They can move pretty fast when they want to!
