We're doing an early morning high water paddle, my cousin and I. It's a gorgeous morning to be out on the river! The river is running approaching 19,000 CFS, we haven't seen a suitable sandbar for camping yet. The river is going to drop rapidly over the next two days. The long-term forecast from there is quite dry and the temperatures are heating up. Grab your friends and family and come on out

Good morning! WRO finds itself in Belleville, Wisconsin for yet another adventure race, Code Blue. It's an absolutely gorgeous morning and we're heading for what supposed to be a beautiful day. Staff are back at the rental putting folks on, taking folks off and providing transports for people with their own boats this morning. River levels are dropping to what should be a perfect 8,500 cubic feet per second by midweek. The long-term forecast is looking dryer with temperatures in the low '80s... If you've never paddled in June, this is the year to think about it! To those folks who started experiencing high water last year around this time, let's get those credits used up and book your trip for this summer!

Congratulate 7 Lake Forest Academy grads who enjoyed 3 days on the river (one with wind and rain) paddling from Boscobel to Wyalusing. A fine group of young men, their parents should be proud! This fall they'll be heading to Scotland, Purdue, Michigan, Georgetown and a couple others I can't remember! Send them some love in good wishes! Ah, to be 18 again, no?☺️

Sunday and the Monday had a beautiful paddle from Boscobel to Woodman. Just a quick overnight, but it helps remind me why I do this 😊 More than enough sand bars out there, the river was running at 8000 CFS. It got a little breezy late morning on Monday, but keep that bow into the wind and just keep plugging forward. It's looking like a beautiful weekend, come on out and join us we have plenty of boats available. I know I'm on repeat, but if you have plans for this summer I'd consider booking your boats sooner rather than later. Most of the information we're seeing is that folks are going to be back to staycations, which means we're pretty popular 😁 www.canoe-camping.com/rentals
