Had a great 8 Mile paddle on Saturday from Blue River to Boscobel. The river was at 30,000 cubic feet per second and rising, as of this morning at 4 a.m. it's up to 34,000 and still has a little higher to go. Incredible weather, 60°, sunny, almost no wind and what there was was coming out of the Northeast and pushing me along...it was gorgeous! Yesterday was absolutely grueling! WRO hiked South Kaibab trail to the bottom and back out at Grand Canyon NP,15 miles round trip. Walking a bit gingerly today😫

Just a reminder, today (3/28) is the last day to book an overnight trip and get a free bundle of firewood with each canoe rented, $8 x # of canoes rented value! Things are getting pretty active between phone calls and emails. We're excited about the 2025 season and will be putting boats out starting in mid to late April based on weather and water conditions. Ice is off the main river, it won't be long before the lagoon at the Boscobel landing is also clear. The phone has been ringing with reservations for the 2025 season, if you are sporting a credit from last summer, we would encourage you to nail down your dates and get them reserved. We're still a little slow at returning phone calls and emails, we're getting the last in of our sanity break before we dive back into the rental. Here's a current river...well, ice...report🙂 The river's up, you might notice how high it is on the rocks at the landing. Some serious ice flows, there will be no paddling for the next few days 🤣
