I stayed in 25+ hotels this year, spanning from NYC to Morocco and New Zealand. I’ve been more intentional with my own travel this last year and I was lucky to experience some incredible places this year, both for work and with my family. A few highlights:
: truly one of the most magical places, ideal for a romantic getaway. I’d love to go here solo and just write — it is restorative in the best way. The staff is 100/10. Let’s get you there this year (opening their big new spa in 2026!)
& : the entire auberge collection is a favorite and for good reason — excellent food, sense of place in vibe and design, and wonderful staff. These are the kinds of partners who go above and beyond for me, and you. I love these two New England hotels (I’ve been to all 4 of their Northeast properties if you have questions), and they’re very special.
was a family trip and we were all mesmerized by the lake. This is the place to stay in Lake Louise for direct lake access and truly the best views. They have an amazing spa and thermal wellness spa. We paired it with .
was my third time to Costa Rica and I became completely enamored with the Nayara brand. This quickly went to the top as one of my favorite hotels.
is such a unique property. No menus, no activity brochure. It is a property devoted to meeting you where you are, and giving you what you need. I love their community collaboration, food was insanely good, and the staff to guest ratio is amazing — this place feels like a hug.
is a property you need to add to your list. It’s perfect for so many kinds of trips: families, couples, and amazing for mother/daughter getaways. It feels like a hidden secret and your own private island escape. It’s so close to St John and St Thomas for exploration but not that you’ll want to leave the pool!
was a surprise at the end of my trip to Morocco. The hotel is so fun and playful — bright colors, gorgeous patterns, beautiful courtyard. My room had an insane green tub that I dream about.
