What a special three days with Milo at Round Hill Hotel and Villas, our first solo trip!

Travel is such a big part of my life and career, but this trip was all about slowing down and spending uninterrupted time together. Childhood moves so quickly, and I’m incredibly grateful for moments like these.

A huge thank you to the entire team at Round Hill, especially Gavin, Trevor, Henrique, Pheona, and so many others who made Milo feel so welcomed and celebrated. Your kindness made our stay truly memorable.

I am still thinking about my arrival into Cape Town after a 3am departure from the Soutpansberg Mountains of Limpopo to these views at .

Ellerman House checked every box: the location, the service (100 staff for 13 rooms and villas), the feeling of a private home, and an extraordinary private South African art collection. It’s a destination in its own right, and an incredible soft place to land.

WOW! .luvhondo is truly one of the most epic places I’ve landed. Launched by the Under Canvas co-founders, this private six-suite luxury lodge, on over 240,000 acres, is focused on conservation, experiential journeys, and immersion into nature, in the remote Soutpansberg Mountains. Truly high-touch and special in every way.

Touch down in magical South Africa and my first stop is the incredible in Sabi Sands. The six spacious suites and villa are exquisite (most comfortable bed!) but it’s really the team that made this stay so memorable to me. Their warmth, curiosity and interest in sharing conversation gave me a sense of peace and willingness to fully enjoy the experience. We saw some incredible wildlife in a short time… baby lion cubs, zebras, giraffes, rhino, elephants and the leopards. Thank you and the entire team! 🤍
