We recently dropped in to the Waterfront Restaurant in Camden Maine.. This was another case of us off Roading but we glad we dipped into this local gem! The food was great, the place was packed, the atmosphere was fun and loud! Although we sat down quickly we had to wait forever for our server and for drinks. But that was not our server’s fault as she was waiting way too many tables for one person! Once we ordered our appetizers, the drinks and service came quickly. Our waitress was hustling, and she earned a great tip because of how she rebounded so quickly. The clam chowder was great, our entrées were great, and the special pumpkin rolls with cranberries were very tasty, even if they were a bit pricey. We will definitely put this on our must visit list next time we’re near Camden or Rockland, Maine

We stopped into The Mine Oyster Restaurant and Tavern ( typical tourist spot), when in Boothbay Harbor, Me. This one was okay…. The food was hot, tasty and fresh! It just took forever to get. The waitress was having a day so service was super slow. We’re talking over 30 minutes to get to us! The place was half empty so it wasn’t that the kitchen was backed up! However our server was very personable so it helped.. The pizza was surprisingly good for a seafood place on the water.

The joint was dated and a little dirty. Definitely in need of a makeover. The prices were high but that’s what you get in BBH.. We might give them another try in the future, but won’t be our first choice.

On our recent trip to mid Coast Maine we stopped in to Wild Duck Restaurant and Pub in Topsham again. Same great service, same barkeep, same great food!
We had the potato skins for an app, their homemade pulled pork, and a haddock sandwich. This place has been reliable the two times we have visited, for a great experience! And they are starting to earn a permanent spot on our list!

We recently checked into Nuevo Vallarta in Manchester again. Food was all very tasty hot and fresh as usual! Service is such a head scratcher here! We had The queso fundido, shrimp burrito and grilled steak quesadilla. We Will give it another try but they really got to figure out a better way to wait on all of the tables!

Sometimes we like to just get dessert and drinks. We recommend The Foreside Tavern & side bar in Falmouth Me. Great dessert, cold w**e, great service!

On a recent trip to Freeport Maine, we stopped in at The Tuscan Bistro on route 1 across from LL Bean. It was pretty busy so we sat at the bar. Food was great, drinks were great, service was unusually sketchy! We had our favorite which is their hot honey pizza. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will be back. If you visit Freeport, even on the weekend, just know that 90% of the businesses close at 5 PM..!

We recently stopped into The Taste of Maine restaurant on route one in Woolwich. It is not often when we try a new place that we make up our minds never to return. This is one of those rare exceptions! this place is your classic Tourist trap. They are Overpriced for almost everything on the menu. Not many inexpensive options. The decor is very kitschy and outdated. there were good servers who were hustling but ours wasn’t one of them. The clam strips were good but the Clam chowder was barely a six out of 10! We will definitely skip this place next time we are in mid-coast Maine..

We recently visited the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Maine. The museum is great with lots of maritime history and the history of shipbuilding in Bath. To top it off, we took a two hour sunset cruise downriver, and finished the day with some ice cream at our favorite ice cream shop, The Fountain Ice Cream & Deli! This is a must do experience anytime you are close to Bath!
