“What a great group of guests — eating, learning, and making our way through the North End. It never fails… the cannoli at Mike’s Pastry always gets everyone excited. There’s just something special about seeing people experience the neighborhood, the culture, and those iconic North End flavors together.”

Be a tourist in your own city. 🇮🇹🍝✨

One of my favorite things is watching people experience the North End the way I grew up experiencing it — through the food, the stories, the hidden corners, and the people that make this neighborhood special.

This isn’t a scripted tour. It’s walking the streets with someone who lived them. From family-run shops and old-school traditions to off-the-beaten-path stories you won’t hear anywhere else, every tour is personal.

Had an amazing time showing and her friend Catherine all the way from across the pond 🇬🇧 and reminding everyone that you don’t have to travel far to discover something unforgettable.

Come hungry… and leave feeling like part of the neighborhood. ❤️🍷🍕

Alright, before you take a bite—this isn’t just a rice ball… this is Sicily in your hand.

Arancini actually date back over 1,000 years to when the Arabs ruled Sicily. They introduced rice and spices to the island, and people would shape rice into little portions they could carry with them—basically the original street food.

The name arancini means ‘little oranges’—because once they’re fried, they look just like one. Crispy on the outside, rich and savory on the inside—usually stuffed with meat sauce, peas, and cheese.

Now here’s where it gets fun—there’s a rivalry in Sicily. In Palermo, they’re round and called arancine. But in Catania, they’re shaped like a volcano—because of Mount Etna—and they call them arancini.

So when you bite into this, you’re not just eating—you’re tasting over 1,000 years of history.

All streets lead here… 🇮🇹

From Roma to Napoli, Calabria to Abruzzo—every sign points to one place: the North End. But this isn’t just a neighborhood… it’s a story. And nobody tells it like lifelong local Bobby Agrippino.

Walk the same streets where generations built tradition, taste the flavors that define Boston’s Little Italy, and hear the stories you won’t find in any guidebook.

This isn’t just a food tour—it’s coming home.

See those little black spots? That’s what we call leopard spotting, straight out of Naples.

It happens because this dough is alive—full of air bubbles from slow fermentation. When it hits a blazing hot oven, those bubbles puff up fast, and the flame kisses them unevenly.

Some spots char quickly, others stay light—and that contrast is the signature of a true Neapolitan pizza.

So those spots? That’s not burnt… that’s flavor.” Leopard spots are what happen when fire meets air bubbles at 900 degrees.
