I turned 36 on Tuesday and while I’m usually the one doing all the planning, this weekend the roles were reversed. My best friend flew out to surprise me and it was the exact reminder I needed to cherish every single moment. (I still can’t believe my husband had known about this since October!)

He planned the most incredible weekend for us from night snowshoeing and a peaceful sound bath to a beautiful dinner with my closest friends.

We spend so much of our lives planning for the future but the real magic is always in the surprise of the present. Being on the receiving end of such an intentional gesture reminded me why I do what I do.

At the end of the day, it’s not just about a “pretty” day, it’s about creating the opportunity for people to gather and make memories that last. This weekend made me realize all over again how important it is to cherish every person in the room and the moments that bring us all together.

I’m entering 36 feeling so loved and so ready for the year ahead!

2016 called and reminded me that this was the year it all really started. Between moving into my very first office in Cohasset, being named a top planner in New England and Whiskey (my cat, may he rest in peace🤍) officially taking over as Head of HR, it was one for the books.

I spent the year planning weddings for the most fab couples, working with Jägermeister (I know what you all are thinking, lol) and getting inducted into the JWU Alumni Hall of Fame. If you need me, I’ll be over here looking through my 4,000 photos of over head coffee shots, clearly I was highly caffeinated in 2016…

Looking at these photos now I’m struck by how much has changed but how the heart of it remains the same. I was just a girl with a big dream and if I could go back and tell that version of me where we’d be today, I don’t think she’d believe it. Here’s to another amazing 10 years!

Whether that’s 2 hours of budget auditing to find your relief, a quick 30 minute call to ask for advice or a contract review, 10 hours of a venue search, or 200+ hours of full-service destination planning, it’s a model that is completely customizable. It’s a win-win: I am fairly compensated for every hour I dedicate to your vision, and you have total control over your investment. 2025✨

Looking back at the weddings, the miles traveled, and the couples I had the honor of serving this past year, I’m struck by one thing: the best moments were often the smallest.

They were the personalized notes in each guest’s menu card. The “getting ready cake” that perfectly matched the bride’s energy and love of sweets. Private vows so deeply meaningful, it felt like time stood still. Personal details paying tribute to loved ones tied to some of the happiest memories. The laughter shared between old friends and family, and the sunsets that felt like they were designed just for us. But the most rewarding moments were when my clients looked at me and said, “Working with you was like working with my best friend.” I might be biased, but my couples are truly the best people. I feel incredibly blessed to do this work.

Fifteen years in this industry have led me to this new chapter. I realized a while ago that the “traditional” way of doing things wasn’t serving my couples the way I wanted it to so I decided to change that.

I’ve spent the last few years refining my services to be a better advocate for you. My goal is to offer my design eye and planning expertise in a way that is more accessible, more transparent, and above all more relieving.

To my 2025 couples: thank you for trusting me with your most precious days. It was an absolute honor to work with you! You have helped me shape the vision for what’s coming next. And, lastly thank you to the talented vendor teams who helped create such extraordinary wedding days for my clients. It was such a joy collaborating with you, both on-site and from afar.

This couple wrote a personal note on every single menu card for their guests. It left everyone talking about them all night, it was a true nod to hospitality and care.

Your wedding doesn’t have to follow anyone’s timeline but yours. 🤍

One of my couples booked me in April for a September wedding just five months to find a venue, plan and design their entire day. On paper, that’s a short timeline. But instead of panicking, we focused on intention.

The bride was an event planner herself, so we leaned into her strengths and divided the process based on what they loved doing and what they wanted me to handle fully as their wedding planner and designer.

The result? More than a wedding, it became a true reflection of who they are.
