As an employer of workers who require a high level of various skills, BWSC is excited to partner with Mayor Wu and the City as Boston take skilled trades training of BPS students to new heights. This new initiative to create high paying jobs that also help Boston grow is supported by a $12.8 million grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies. Mayor Wu announced the initiative and grant at Madison Park Vocational Technical High School, which is a focal point for skilled trades training. BWSC Chief of Project Management and Training Kenn Turner said at the event that BWSC is fully committed to the partnership. Here’s his comments:

This past Saturday, BWSC and our Water Truck were invited to Neighborhood Health’s 13th Annual “Let’s Get Movin” 5k for fitness! The sun was shining bright over Memorial Park in and the runners really showed out! Of course, we were there to provide the participants and their supporters with our “Best Tasting” award-winning water 💧🏃‍➡️
