Their trip experience leader stayed up all night to get them home. They had no idea he had just lost his mother.

John and Ben were in Nepal with Overseas Adventure Travel when the rains moved in and flights could only take off on certain days.

Missing their window meant an eight-hour bus ride instead of a forty-minute flight. Their trip experience leader spent the entire night on the phone, doing everything he could to get them out.

The next morning, they made their flight.

It wasn't until they were boarding the bus that they learned that the night before, his mother had passed away. He never said a word. He just showed up and took care of them.

"We've seen people offer so much that they don't have, and they give with their heart. If more people were like this, the world may be a better place."

For years, Botswana was just something they talked about. Then one day, they found Overseas Adventure Travel and decided it was time.

Laura and Sheri have been best friends for 35 years. They've shown up for each other through marriages, loss, and all the quiet moments in between. And through it all, one trip kept coming up. A safari in Botswana.

Some restaurants feed you. This one changes lives.

While visiting Hanoi, Vietnam, Overseas Adventure Travel travelers sat down for a meal at KOTO (Know One, Teach One), Vietnam's very first social enterprise training restaurant.

KOTO takes the country's most disadvantaged youth, especially young women, and gives them a voice, a platform, and the skills to build a sustainable future.

The food speaks for itself too. A standout chicken thigh dish made with mắc khén, a spice from the northwest of Vietnam. And before the meal? A lesson in how to toast the Vietnamese way.

"Một, hai, ba, YO!" 🥂
