We are a short term rental management company looking for a motivated individual with 1+ year vacation rental, hospitality, guest service/reservationist, or property management experience to join our awesome team serving our guests throughout New England.
This full time position is an essential role in our company and requires a candidate with relevant experience, excellent conflict resolution skills, as well as time management skills. The Guest Communications/Reservationist role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of day to day operations; which includes taking reservations and working closely with our staff and providing exceptional guest service. The ability to multi-task and manage time independently are vital to this role.
People with backgrounds in guest service, management, sales, and hospitality are encouraged to apply. We are looking for candidates who feel comfortable wearing many hats and have a good sense of organization and time prioritization. We are looking for someone with experience running Booking.com, Airbnb, VRBO and/or Expedia properties and will train.
Required Skills:
-Self-starter, with extreme attention to detail. Efficient at multitasking and very organized.
-Extremely motivated and able to self manage your work
-Exceptional guest service both in written form and verbal (bilingual is a plus)
-Able to perform physical work as necessary (e.g., assisting with laundry, unloading cleaning supplies, driving to visit properties etc.)
-Experience with reservation software – helpful but will train
-Must be able to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with a level mind and attitude
-Able to communicate effectively with guests, providing specific property details ( location, wifi, lock use, etc.)
-Problem solver and able to accurately explain solutions to guests, remain calm and always willing to help to figure out the problem.
-Keeping an eye on calendar trends - from getting bookings to finding ways to fill up the calendar (pricing, knowing what events are coming to the area, etc).
What We Are Looking For In You
-Hotel, Corporate Housing, Hospitality, Real Estate, backgrounds are preferred
-A proven understanding of how to deliver exceptional guest service
-You are a people person, love to meet and talk to different people from different backgrounds and are organized
-Able to complete tasks in a timely manner when asked
-Oversee the maintenance and housekeeping staff
-Maintain property appearance, cleanliness, inventory, and ensure repairs are noted and completed in a timely manner.
-Handle all insurance and damage claims with guest and booking channels.
-Accept and book reservation inquiries within Reservation Management Software
-Monitor expense sheets and invoices
-Assist property manager with month end billing and accounting
-Available to start and train mid-February in our Boston office.

What You'll Get From Us
$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience plus bonus.
Room to grow to become a team leader as our company expands.
No set office hours and ability to work from home. Need to be in Boston daily for about 1.5-2 hours so this isn’t a 100% remote job.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule:
Open to negotiating schedule, must be able to work weekends, evenings and some holidays.
Some on-call overnight availability
Needs a car or be able to get to Back Back within 25 minutes
