This was a fun (all) day trip from Denver.

Coffee at Plume Coffee bar, best donut i ever had. Can't stop thinking about it...Anyway then we drove to Twin Lakes and did the Interlaken trail to the abandoned resort. You can still go in the main house and look around! Very beautiful scenery along the way. Trail is a nice relatively easy 4 miles round trip.

Stopped in Leadville for dinner and a little shopping on the way home!

I think i found a new favorite hike yesterday!
We took the Lions Lair trail. It was a little over 5 miles round trip. Perfect for a morning hike when you have stuff to do later, like watch the Super bowl!
