It’s , and this week we are spotlighting the Kane section of the Knox & Kane Rail Trail for a ride or hike with a creative twist!

If you’ve been out along the trail recently, you’ve probably noticed some rugged, larger-than-life new residents. Five out of six incredible woodland animal Corten Steel sculptures are officially in place, blending trail recreation with outdoor art:

🦊 The Leaping Fox
🐻 The Standing Bear
🦃 The Strutting Wild Turkey
🐸 The Leaping Frog
🐿️ The Trailside Squirrel

Led by the Kane Area Development Center, each piece was handcrafted by the talented team at Aiello Metal Works, blending art into the natural landscape. Thanks to the 🛠️ TAMED-Trail Association of the McKean/Elk Divide (Trail Association of the McKean/Elk Divide) for their boots-on-the-ground trail logistics and installation work.
