The Warrior Store, stocked by Brainerd Public Schools Foundation and housed right here at the Visit Brainerd Gift Store and Information Center, has everything you need for your next Brainerd Warrior event. The store has merchandise year-round and in the fall is the location of the Warrior Worn pop-up sale which includes gently used donated pieces at discounted prices. The Warrior Worn sale is open Aug. 20–Sep. 19. Visit Brainerd is proud to support BPSF with these fundraisers that support school pantries, classroom grants, and student scholarships. The Crow Wing County Master Gardeners are University of Minnesota-trained volunteers who educate the public about a variety of horticulture subjects. In 2020, the Giving Garden was established at the Northland Arboretum. It provides fresh food for locals in need, distributed through food shelves, and to date it has given more than 15,600 pounds of produce making it one of the largest gardens of its kind. Pictured is just one weekly harvest and the incredible gardens they have built and maintained over the years. Make sure to check it out the next time you’re at the Arboretum! 🥕🌽🍅🌻

The Last Turn is a historic bar and eatery in downtown Brainerd, Minnesota, established in 1894. Although it's in a bit of transition, the plans are grand. Currently they are open Thursday–Saturday from 11:00am–9:00pm and offering Minnesota beers, spirits, and one-of-a-kind food. The end goal is simple—keep the historic and prohibition feel of the building and create an atmosphere that brings you back to the 1920s. Quality food, period correct beers and cocktails, a unique speak easy vibe, and most importantly, beer brewed in house. 🍻 Watch for more information about their Grand Re-opening happening soon, but for now, put it on your list of spots to go some Thursday through Saturday. 🌻 It's Sunflower Season! 🌻

Country Sunshine MN is the flower lover's dream. The sunflower stroll & U-pick flower patch is the perfect outdoor family outing! There are plenty of photo ops placed around the patch and hundreds of beautiful flowers to create your own bouquet. Their second Sunflower Patch is in it's prime RIGHT NOW. The farm is open from 4-8pm every day until the frost comes, and is located at 2911 145th Ave, Brainerd MN.
