A lot of people want help planning a trip... but don't always know how to start the conversation with a travel advisor.

The good news? You do not need to come with a fully built itinerary.

The more you can share about what matters to you - your budget, travel style, priorities, likes/dislikes, and who's going - the more helpful your advisor can be.

This process doesn't have to feel intimidating. It should feel like a conversation with someone who's helping you sort through the options and find the right fit for your trip.

Sometimes people think they need to know exactly what hotel, room type, destination, and dates they want before they reach out. You really don't. A travel advisor can help you narrow it down, point out what fits, and flag what may look good online but not actually match what you need.

If you've ever felt unsure how to begin, let this be your reminder:
You can just start the conversation. ✨

What's trending in travel for 2026 (so far): trips that feel slower, calmer, and more intentional.

A few of the biggest "I'm seeing this everywhere" trends right now:
Reading retreats/ "readaways" πŸ“˜πŸ“—πŸ“™ Book-Center getaways are on the rise-more unwind, less itinerary.
Farm stays + agritourism 🌿Travelers are leaning into rural, hands-on, "touch grass" experiences - farm properties, local food, open skies.
Slow travel 🐒 Fewer stops, longer stays, deeper experiences (and way less rushing).

If one of these sounds like your 2026 vibe, comment READ/FARM/SLOW and tell me where you'd want to do it.

I'll reply with a few destination ideas that fit.

The hotel robe.
The first meal after arrival.
The "vacation coffee."
Fresh sheets.
Balcony mornings.

That quiet exhale when you realize... you're finally off the clock.

These tiny joys are the parts of travel that don't always make the highlight reel, but they're often what make a trip feel truly restorative.

Now your turn: what's a small vacation moment you love every single time?

Drop yours in the comments - I'm building a list. πŸ‘‡

Travel Tip Tuesday:
If you're traveling during hurricane season, the best tip isn't to panic
- it's to plan with a little extra flexibility 🌴

Most trips go just fine, but this is one season where having a backup-plan mindset really matters.

✨ Choose flights and resorts carefully
If possible look for options with better change policies or more flexibility.

✨ Consider travel protection
A good travel protection plan can be worth its weight in gold during hurricane season. It's one of those things you hope you never need... but you're glad to have if plans shift.

✨ Avoid planning too tightly
If every detail of the trip depends on perfect timing, it can create more stress. A little breathing room helps.

✨ Know your cancellation and change terms
Before you travel, make sure you understand what's refundable, what's transferable, and what happens if weather causes delays or changes.

✨ Have a quick backup idea in mind
That could mean a different flight option a later travel day, or even a flexible mindset about how the trip unfolds.

✨ Watch the forecast, but don't spiral
It's good to stay informed - but not every storm affects every destination the same way.

✨ Work with a travel advisor
One of the biggest benefits of using a travel advisor during hurricane season is having someone help you sort through options if things change.

Save this one if you have a late summer or fall trip coming up, because a calm traveler with a backup plan is always in a better position than a stressed traveler with none.

Most people think the biggest risk in planning their own travel is overspending.

But honestly? A lot of the hidden cost shows up somewhere else.

It shows up in the hours spent comparing options that all start to blur together.

It shows up in second-guessing hotel choices, flight times, locations, room categories, and reviews.

It shows up in trying to piece together advice from TickTocks, blogs, Facebook groups, and search results that ma or may not actually fit you trip.

And it definitely shows up when something changes and you're the one left trying to sort it all out.

That's the part people don't always see.

A travel advisor isn't just there to "book something." We help filter the noise, narrow the options, and make sure the trip actually fits you. 🀍

If travel planning has ever left you overwhelmed, this is your reminder that you don't have to do it all alone.

Referrals are truly the heart of my business.

If you've ever shared my name with a friend, coworker, or family member - thank you. That's not just "supporting my work," that's trusting me with someone you care about, and I don't take that lightly.

Most of my clients come from word from word-of-mouth, and it means a lot that you'd think of me when someone says: "Do you know a travel advisor?" or "We want to take a trip but don't know where to start."

So if we've worked together and you felt taken care of, I just want to say thank you for helping my business grow in the most personal way possbile.

And if you ever need my info to pass along, just message me - I'm always happy to send it.

If you've ever helped coordinate a sports team trip, you already know: it's not just booking a hotel - it's juggling families, schedules, budgets, and last-minute changes... all while everyone just wants a smooth weekend.

This is where a travel advisor can make a real difference.

When you work with me for team travel, you get:
a more organized booking process (so families aren't all doing their own thing)
hotel options that actually make sense for game-day logistics one point of contract for room blocks, updates, and changes support when schedules shift (because they always do) a simpler plan that keeps coaches and parents out of the weeds

If your team has travel coming up, I'd love to help take the planning off your plate.

A quick planning heads-up: some trips really do need a summer booking window if you want the best choices (dates, rooms/cabins, and smoother logistics).

This graphic is my "don't wait too long" list - because these trips tend to book up first or get harder to plan last-minute.

If one of these is on your list, here's the easiest way to start:

DM me your travel window (even a range) + who's going + your budget comfort zone and I'll narrow it down to a few solid options that fit.

No pressure - just a smart head start so you're not stuck settling later.

Travel Tip Tuesday:

Summer theme park days can be so much fun... but they can also go sideways quickly if everyone gets too hot, too hungry, or too overstimulated β˜€

One of the smartest things you can do is build intentional breaks into the day before anyone hits the wall.

A few practical ways to do that:

✨ Start early if you can
Do your priority rides in the morning while energy is high and temperatures are lower.

✨ Plan a midday reset
This could look like heading back to the resort, sitting down for a long indoor meal, catching a show, or spending time in an air-conditioned attraction

✨ Don't wait until everyone is miserable
Breaks work best when you take them early - not when everyone is already melting down.

✨ Pick one "slow moment" each day
A carousel, people-watching break, indoor show, playground stop, or a treat break can help the day feel more manageable.

✨ Pack for recovery, not just convenience
Cooling towels, refillable water bottles, portable fans, sunscreen, and blister protection go a long way.

This is one of those travel tips parents tend to appreciate after learning the hard way, so this one is definitely worth saving for later πŸ’Ύ
