When I was growing up, my dad always had a bottle tree in our yard. I was honestly a little embarrassed by it. When Charles and I traveled in South Carolina last winter, we were told about the bottle trees, which have an origin in Gullah and African tradition. It's believed evil spirits are attracted to the colorful bottles and then trapped in them. So, Cabin Friends, what do you think about cabin yard decor?🤣🤣

We're excited to show you the newest updates at our Trails End Cabin. The new tiled showers have replaced the small corner fiberglass units, and we're in love with them. We've also replaced the little short toilets with taller ones, as requested, which are easier on the knees. We think you'll love the updates too. There are many open dates left this year for your family to enjoy Branson and this cabin.

Spring, where are you? We're more than ready for some warmer weather! This winter has felt like an eternity! But we've got some awesome news to share - the Branson Cedars Cabins just got a pool heater and it's opening on March 15! Woohoo! And to make things even better, they've added an ADA compliant chairlift and new lighting. This should be fun! Come join us! Wilderness Retreat (4 bed 4 bath) is available this weekend.

We ended the season on a high note with one more visit to Silver Dollar City, feeling thankful for the adventure. We Love it!!! Tomorrow we begin removing Christmas decorations at the cabins, but the true spirit of the season, Jesus, will remain. Thank you for all your kind comments about our cabin Christmas decorations. Hi Cabin Friends! Summer ended with a bang at the Branson Cedars cabins. They all got new roofs! I know one doesn’t usually drive in and exclaim, “My, what a pretty roof!” But we think they turned out very nicely. C’mon over and check them out.

It’s been a wild and crazy summer here in Branson— hail, floods, and heat! But in spite of it all, we’ve loved hearing about all the wonderful family memories being made at our cabins.

In June, Charles and experienced a dream come true when most of our kids, grandkids, and great grandkids came together for a week at the Branson Cedars Cabins! It took all 4 of the big cabins to accommodate everyone, and we loved every minute of it! Somehow we missed getting a group photo in front of one of the cabins, but the memories we made are priceless!

We still have some Aug dates available if you’re looking to make that last trip before school starts— and don’t forget fall is just around the corner.

We had a sweet family scheduled to arrive at our Ozarks Legends Lodge tomorrow and stay for 4 days. They’ve had a medical emergency and won’t be able to make it. If anyone is looking for a last minute trip, let us know.

Our second annual Chodrick Cousins Reunion is now a precious memory. Charles and I loved hosting our cousins from Oklahoma and Missouri at the cabins this past weekend. It was 4 days of laughing, reminiscing, and enjoying time together. How appropriate that yesterday was National Cousins Day. 😍
