Did you know that in addition to offering a premier swamp experience for guests from across the world, that McGee’s is also a HUGE supporter of Scouting America? That’s right! McGee’s understands the incredible value of Scouting for young men and women and the future of our country.

This summer, McGee’s is hosting Scouts from across the country (as far away as California) while they participate in a Swamp Base adventure trek through the Atchafalaya Basin. At McGee’s, these Scouts will take a break from their over 60 miles of paddling and hop on one of our tour boats to witness alligators up close and personal!When they leave the area, our hope is that they’ve gained a new found respect and love for this great swamp wilderness.
