McGee's Swamp Tours

🚨ANHA Day Cancelled🚨 Due to severe weather concerns, we have made the difficult decision to cancel ANHA Day scheduled for this Saturday, October 3rd.

With thunderstorm chances currently ranging from 75% to 90% and the majority of our site and activities occurring outdoors, we believe it is in the best interest of our guests and exhibitors not to proceed with the event. 🌧

The Atchafalaya National Heritage Area is a wonderful organization and we congratulate them on 20 years of promoting and supporting activities across the Atchafalaya Basin parishes.

Attention teachers! 🔔 We’ve got a math problem for you….

Let’s say you have a grade of 125 students that are looking for a fun out-of-school experience, AND you have a teacher needing to fulfill state educational standards for these students. What’s the answer to the following equation:

(Fun x 125) + (Standards x 125) = Take them on a field trip to McGee’s!

Swamp tours AND land activities are available throughout the 2026-2027 school year, meaning your students are getting a well-rounded and memorable experience! Contact us today at 337-228-2384 to learn more.

Did you know that in addition to offering a premier swamp experience for guests from across the world, that McGee’s is also a HUGE supporter of Scouting America? That’s right! McGee’s understands the incredible value of Scouting for young men and women and the future of our country.

This summer, McGee’s is hosting Scouts from across the country (as far away as California) while they participate in a Swamp Base adventure trek through the Atchafalaya Basin. At McGee’s, these Scouts will take a break from their over 60 miles of paddling and hop on one of our tour boats to witness alligators up close and personal! When they leave the area, our hope is that they’ve gained a new found respect and love for this great swamp wilderness.

Thank you for your support, which allows us in turn to support such a worthwhile cause that benefits all Louisianians.
