Hello friends! We wanted to post an update to let you know that by nothing short of a miracle, our sustained no damage from Helene. We have been overwhelmed with survivors guilt and are devastated at the catastrophic loss that so many are experiencing.

For guests coming in the weeks and months ahead, or past visitors who carry this place in their hearts - we hope your peaceful time spent at the top of this beautiful mountain will fill you awe and gratitude for this amazing land and it’s communities, and inspire you to help in whatever monetary and non-monetary ways you can. We feel beyond fortunate and humbled to have this resource to help us pay it forward. It would take a lifetime to give back even a fraction of what it has so generously bestowed on us. 😔

Daily Cabin Life in Brevard = summer showers popping up out of nowhere, jumping up with your grilled burger in one hand and all the patio cushions in the other (+ your bikes 😉), running inside to sit on the same side of the island eating your burgers and watching like 😳 as a fury of thunder & lightning pounds down for 67 seconds followed by complete silence and an explosion of neon pink & orange. Usually Mother Nature throws in a double rainbow too, right smack in front of us, but missed it this night!

Life is so good! 🌈
