DuPont State Forest just a 10 minute drive from our home has hiking trails and breathtaking waterfalls like none other in North Carolina. The historic Village of Flat Rock is home to the Flat Rock Playhouse and Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site, with a goat farm and hiking trails. There are so many things to see and do in this area!
