This week we allowed one of the greatest "first" ponies to rest in peace. Before spending her last year and a half enjoying retirement, Peach gave countless children their introduction to riding. We are grateful for the opportunity to have shared so many years together. She will forever be loved and missed.

Today, we laid our longtime friend, Grey, to rest. Just shy of his 31st birthday, we are grateful we shared 25 of those years together. Through the years, he has helped to teach countless riders of all sizes and abilities - slowly, quietly and patiently letting beginners learn the basics, and stepping up for those ready for more of a challenge. Whether doing his trademark greeting of our Pony Kids on the lawn each morning, or poking his nose into the aisle when you approached, he had a knack for getting you to stop and visit. His kind soul always enjoyed every visit and snuggle.

We extend our thanks and appreciation to Dr. Caitlin Owen of South Shore Equine Clinic & Diagnostic Center for her continued knowledgeable and empathetic care of all of our horses.

Rest easy, Grey. You will forever be loved and missed.

On this beautiful morning we said goodbye to Annie. Part of the family since her birth nearly twenty-nine years ago, her absence will leave a void. We are grateful for the many memories and bucket list adventures she provided for her owner, Pat. Rest easy, Annie.

Feels rather strange to not be welcoming kids to Opening Day of our Pony Kids Summer Horsemanship Program this morning. This is first time in nearly fifty years our Pony Kids program has not run.
