Our Fabulous Variety Show

Eclectic creations played on myriad of stages , OFVS is a performing arts and arts education organization.

OFVS’ mission is to create accessible, innovative cultural arts experiences and to bridge the arts opportunity gap by cultivating inclusive arts experiences for all. Founded in 2010 by Anita Boyer and Kasia Klimiuk, OFVS is a non-profit 501(c)3 performance and arts education organization that produces productions from full scale to showcase, and provides educational performing arts programming to the community.

✨Get on STAGE this year with Our Fabulous Variety Show!✨

We are THRILLED to announce that ALL students will have 2 performances at the gorgeous and iconic stage this season! Our kids work so hard and we can't wait to showcase their talents with full lights, costumes and great views from every seat! 😘 Any students enrolled in the Fall Semester will be part of the December show, and Spring Semester students will be part of our May show! More details to come- but ALL ages are getting the chance to rock fun costumes and bring their shining talent to the big stage this year!!

Enrollment for the 2025-2026 season is OPEN and we are so excited to welcome you home to the studio on Monday, September 8th!

Cheers to an amazing year! Our Teacher Appreciation dinner at last night was such a great way to celebrate the last season and plan for the upcoming year. We are so grateful to have this team of brilliant and fabulous humans helping to create magic in the studio for our students!

We won this dinner at the fundraiser in 2024 with a big donation to their mission- and dinner tonight was the cherry on top!

Thank you John for coordinating and for putting together an incredible evening. Your team there is top notch and we could not recommend more!!

OPEN HOUSE 🎭

Two opportunities to visit the studio; get more information about our fall, spring and full year class opportunities; and meet our directors and teaching artists!

At the OFVS STUDIO, we offer weekly performing arts classes in all genres of dance such as tap, ballet, musical theatre + jazz, hip hop, lyrical + contemporary and acting & improv! Each semester culminates in a showcase of the work created during classes and all shows will have full costumes! 🥳

We also have a creative youth development group called OFVS Crew that you can learn more about and all the different ways that you can become more involved with all the great things we do at OFVS!

If you need any help registering for any of our programs, we are here to assist and help you do that at each Open House! We will also have discounts on shoes, dance wear and door prizes!

✨Welcome to the Team!✨

Please join us in welcoming two remarkable women to the Our Fabulous Variety Show Board of Directors! As we thank our exiting members Kathryn, Ann and Erin for their years of service, let's give some love and welcome our newest members!

💫Julie Sigler-Baum and Devon Leaver💫

Julie has been a fervent supporter of OFVS as an advertiser, sponsor, audience member and grounding source of wisdom, encouragement and love for over a decade! She has been inducted to our Guardian's Hall of Fame as an honoree at the 2023 Gala (now called the Disco Ball- Save the Date for this year's even 11/1/26!) and her son Liam has also been on stage with the Crew for a very special "Liam's Crew" experience. In the community, Julie is a strong advocate for the arts and has helped many organizations like OFVS and we are all so grateful to have her joining our board!

Devon started her OFVS journey as a castmember in our 2013 production of Godspell! She is a powerhouse vocalist, a star performer and one of the coolest and sweetest humans around. She is now a director, producer and multimedia specialist bringing her storytelling prowess to the team at OFVS!

We look forward to the new ideas and energy that both of these great additions are bringing with them to the Board and extend our deepest gratitude for offering your time and talents to help build the community and foster the mission!

Master Acting Class with Maureen Sebastian ✨

We are thrilled to have professional actor Maureen Sebastian bring us a master acting class that blends artistic exploration, audition and industry insights, and hands-on monologue work. Come ready to ask questions, share ideas, and strengthen your creative voice! Gain practical insights on navigating auditions, training and working in major hubs like NY and LA and finding your artistic voice for each performance. Open to students in grades 6 and above. Students should come ready with a monologue they want to work on.

Bio: Maureen Sebastian is an actor/writer/producer. Her theatrical credits include The Best We Could (Manhattan Theatre Club, Lucille Lortel Awards nomination), Poor Yella Rednecks (Manhattan Theatre Club), Vietgone(South Coast Repertory), Thunder Above, Deeps Below(Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center/Second Generation), Now Circa Then (Ars Nova), Lonely, I’m Not (Second Stage), Oph3lia (Here Arts Center, NY Innovative Theatre Award nominee), and Fight Girl Battle World(Vampire Cowboys, NY Innovative Theatre Award winner). Film/Television credits include the upcoming “The Terror: Devil in Silver” (AMC), “Y2K” (A24), “Love Life” (HBO), “American Gothic” (CBS), and “Revolution” (NBC). She created Gulp Podcast (Independent Film Project Audio Hub selection) and A Guide to Freedom: A North Star Fund Podcast. She’s a member of Ma-Yi Theater’s Writers Lab and the Gotham Film & Media Institute.
