Continuing my flashback to last year aboard Explora Journeys… our final stop brought us to Ravenna, Italy, where we headed out on a bus trip to the tiny but absolutely beautiful country of San Marino. 🇸🇲(be sure to stop in to get that passport stamp!!)
Known as the world’s oldest republic, dating back to 301 AD, San Marino looked like something straight out of a medieval movie set. Perched high on Monte Titano, the cobblestone streets, stone walls, breathtaking views, and famous Three Towers made this one of the most unforgettable places of the entire trip.
We wandered the picturesque streets, did some amazing shopping, enjoyed a delicious 4-course lunch, and took in views that honestly didn’t even look real. This little country completely captured my heart, and I would go back in a heartbeat.
That evening, a few of us gathered for one last dinner at Fil Rouge, reminiscing about the incredible past 10 days together and saying our goodbyes. It’s funny how people who were strangers a week earlier can suddenly feel like lifelong friends by the end of a cruise. ✨
