🎉🎉TIOGA PASS TO OPEN, FRIDAY, MAY 15 at 8am 🎉🎉

Our final high sierra pass is set to open Friday morning. 🚴🚴‍♀️Bikers get ready: Thursday is the day to experience the road in solitude. Please watch out for administrative vehicle traffic in the area.

This year, no reservations required to enter the Park but in order to get through the gate quicker, you can still pre-pay your entrance fee at Recreation.gov.

The Mammoth Lakes Film Festival returns May 20–24, 2026 for five days of bold independent films, unforgettable shorts, and stunning mountain scenery. This year's festival features 'What Lies Unseen - Convict Lake' directed by Colin West of Clean Up The Lake. This portion of the ongoing series features our own backyard, Convict Lake and all the things they found just under the surface.

We are so excited to see our High Sierra mountain passes reopen, but remember that April had more snow than March so there is always a chance the road recloses in cases of inclement weather.
