It’s been a slow year for us. Unfortunately, medical issues, a move, a flood, and a variety of other road blocks got in the way of us growing and promoting Vacations by Coastal Haven. But we have some big plans for 2026. For now, we plan to continue our love and support for small businesses on the island and promoting short term rentals who truly make their guests feel welcome and comfortable during their vacation.

For those of you still following us even as we deviated a bit from Short Term Rental guidance and support—THANK YOU!! We are thrilled you’re here. We’d love if you share our page as we have so much more to offer in the new year.

May your holiday season be filled with family, friends, rest, reflection, and relaxation (especially for those of us that are Santa’s helper this season). Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

Not really STR related but figured I’d post here for my local Brigantine STR and vacation owners. I accidentally bought an extra recliner by mistake (don’t ask). We put together the two we are keeping and they are awesome! The fabric is spill resistant, it swivels, reclines fully, glides and definitely doesn’t look like your grandma’s recliner!

I don’t post much of my personal life on here. It’s a business page after all. Some of you know we moved from our small condo into a larger home—I’m so grateful. But I’m also sad. Every time we leave the bridge my heart seems to stay right here, on this island. Sitting on the beach, or the front porch, or visiting with my beach friends. It’s hard to leave a place you know you’re meant to be. I know, after writing that, just how blessed I am to even have this place to come to. But it doesn’t make it less hard.

Just know if you live here, whether it’s part time, year round or even as a renter—you’re blessed to be part of this little slice of heaven that seems to bring a bit of calm to this chaotic world we find ourselves in today. ❤️ 🌊
