Some parks just go above and beyond Jellystone Park Plymouth is one of those parks. Have you ever seen a Halloween weekend that included candy raining from a helicopter? How about a picnic basket delivered by the park mascot to your door? The park manager here, Jeff Miser, says everything at his park is for the kids and making family memories. I absolutely believe it. This is a definite don’t miss family vacation spot! Thank you so much for having us!

This gorgeously wooded OHI member park has been around since the early 1960’s. From the lakefront to the chapel, history and creativity are everywhere. There is a lot to celebrate here for the future too. The Rose family is mapping and opening 35 new seasonal sites and I got a sneak peek while we toured. Not only can you reserve your site you can choose which trees to take out of the heavily wooded sites to make room for your dream summer camping destination. Go visit Enchanted Forest Campground, LLC the mascot is very friendly and so are the owners!

This 3rd generation gem has one of the best pool decks I have ever seen! There is so much fun to be had here. 3 large pool decks and a huge children’s activity pool will definitely beat the summer heat! There is also a fantastic playground and Lake Arrowhead is great for beginning kayakers. No camper? No problem. They have fantastic lakeside cabin rentals on Lake Puckaway as well. If you are traveling with a boat they have slips for rent at their seasonal only sister campground just a mile down the road. Something for everyone at Lake Arrowhead Campground!!
