I found this article interesting. One of the churches mentioned in the US it is in Manhattan, and we visited there. When we were there we were amazed not only of the churches age, but also that George Washington worshipped there after being inaugurated as President. It is right across the street from where 9/11 happened and it is amazing it was not harmed nor the graveyard.

Have you ever had a shock seeing someone on your travels that looks strikingly like a close friend from home? You might if you see St.-Martin-in-the-Fields’ façade.
