🚨 Urgent Caribbean Travel Alert ✈️
As of January 3, 2026, overnight military strikes in Venezuela and the capture of Nicolás Maduro have led to emergency FAA airspace restrictions. These closures are currently causing widespread flight cancellations and significant rerouting across the Eastern Caribbean, with disruptions expected to last at least through January 6, 2026.
If you are traveling to, from, or connecting through the region, please be aware that U.S. carriers (including American, Delta, United, JetBlue, and Southwest) have suspended or proactively canceled hundreds of flights.
