One month post storm and we can see some progress. There are still many piles of debris to work through but we got enough cleaned up so that we could mow. That mow makes such a difference.

Next up, will be the nursery and the shed, along with some scattered debris cleanup.

Happy to see progress despite still seeing so many bruises.

We have been able to get back to mowing again thanks to a new mower. This will make moving around the tea farm much nicer with the shorter grass.

We are working on two fronts at the tea farm. Timmy is getting back to regular tea processing in an attempt to salvage as much of the tea season as possible while on the other side they are working to fix the shade trees and clean up more from the storm.

We uncovered a large patch of tea plants that were smothered by a falling tree that will need to be replanted.

Also, waiting in the background is the new equipment that needs to be unpacked and set up. That's a future tea problem. For now, tea and clean up are the priority. 🌱

June is Pride month and we understand that there are still people who don't get why Pride month is celebrated.

Many in the LGBTQ+ community have/still live in hiding or deal with hate and exclusion. Many still suffer from being shut out from their own friends and family for being who they are.

Pride celebration is a way to reach people to let them know they are not alone. To promote inclusion. Inclusion for all. Not just LGBTQ+ but for ALL.

Pride saves lives. It has helped those alone find access to support resources, meet others who can relate and learn that even those who are not LGBTQ+ can still love you. It brings people together.

Every year we post for Pride and we will be reminded that the hate still exists. It can be quiet such as an angry face on our post. The influx of people who unfollow. Or the more forward hateful comment on the post. It doesn't feel good to be hated. We can handle it, but that doesn't mean it feels good. Also, doesn't mean others can handle the hate so we share this message in a mission to support others.

For those who celebrate Pride with us, welcome! If you are alone know we are here, you are not alone. Reminder to focus on the good. Find your people, they exist, hold them close and love them with all you have.

So for all of you who celebrate with us, we love you. Happy Pride month all!

Shortly after the storm hit we had our new tea processing equipment arrive. We had to scramble to rebuild the tea processing facility to store the equipment and now we have to get it all set up.

Farm clean up, tea harvesting and getting the new processing facility up and running are all on the go at once!

One day at a time, everyday something gets done. 😁
