This family just returned from celebrating their matriarch’s 90th birthday on a 7-day cruise and what a wonderful time they had.

I was shocked, saddened, pi**ed, upset and a whole host of other emotions when I heard that another travel agent had scammed multiple groups of people out of thousands of dollars of their hard earned money. It hit much harder to know that I thought I knew this person because we once traveled together to Cuba back in 2021. She's pictured here 3rd from the left. I'm pictured on the opposite side, 3rd from the right.

Scam travel agents cast a long shadow over the entire travel industry, and as an honest, dedicated professional, I feel the impact firsthand. When travelers fall victim to fraudulent schemes, it not only damages their trust but also tarnishes the reputation of trustworthy agents like myself who work tirelessly to provide exceptional, stress-free travel experiences. These dishonest actors create unnecessary skepticism among clients, making it harder for genuine travel advisors to build meaningful relationships and showcase the value we bring. Which is why I still send a hard copy of the final travel documents to all of my clients even if they have a copy in their phones. Phone batteries die. Apps are not reliable. But that piece of paper will never fail you!!!

If you are booked on a flight today, please check with the airlines prior to going to the airport. There are flight delays all over the Country due to the severe thunderstorms that happened on last night. There were power outages that caused delays and cancellations.
