I remember being at church when the late Bishop Hicks preached a sermon entitled, “Every Man Has to Carry His Own Corner.”

When I look at this picture from this year’s convention, I’m reminded that I am not carrying my corner alone.

I have support coming from many different “corners” of the U.S. and abroad. And when I say I’m a part of THIS team, I mean for real.

There has never been a time when I reached out and someone wasn’t there to help, answer a question, offer guidance, or simply encourage me to keep moving.
