DIY and bring your own food and decor, or enlist experienced wedding coordinator Karen and she'll handle it for you. This is a hard one to write. After 12 wonderful years of hosting weddings we are taking a year off to care for mom (with the exception of the already booked weddings.) As you are aware if you’ve been to Sparkles and Spurs our home is a huge part of our venue.
Mom now lives with us and its sometimes
hard on her with all of the goings on.
We’ve decided it’s a season we want to make as easy as possible for her.
We may be back, only time will tell.
We’ve met the best folks through these weddings.
I’m posting a few photos and hope to post more on the Instagram account in a few days.

This photo by Kari Bee Photography describes the image that’s always come to mind when I was praying about our venue. I wanted a place folks could come relax, visit and enjoy the outdoor country life.
Even though we named it Sparkles and Spurs it could just as easily have been named Southern Charm on a Texas Farm. When describing it to someone I believe it fits perfectly. I’m so very thankful to our Father above for allowing us to have our little slice of Heaven and to have met so many of you. You’ve been a blessing and we are humbled. Thank you to those who’ve been here, married here, and those to come.
