This stage of life is by far my hardest on paper, but my community is the biggest it’s ever been.
A sermon with my pastor that hit home with me the other day, so many times believers can become isolated and almost try to get a badge of honor maybe for doing everything on their own. Trying to be the best mother, doing it all, not asking for help because it’s internally asked of us to show up and not share a load.
I have found with being a little bit more open about my life to my close community has opened so many conversations and doors for support in our never-ending schedules. Simultaneously, trying to provide a life for my children that meet them where they’re at and what I know is best for them in this season.
I would never be here where I am today without my husband, my church, my women, my friends, our amazing au pair who has been a support and stronghold for my kids and family, and everyone who has just opened conversations with me for opportunity for the betterment of my family as a whole.
It just starts with the family. Once the family is taken care of, doors open for ministry through business. Holding a big team is no easy feat, but choosing the right people along the way is essential, more than ever. Grateful for the path God is leading us on, and though the burden of fatigue is present - we always keep our eyes on the prize, that is just serving others, and letting God‘s light shine through us, intentionally where we can.
I never thought I would be a SAHM-with an au pair- homeschool - business owner - content creator - REALTOR was ever a thing - but I’ve seen God do crazier things 😆🥰❤️
