We're still offering Boater Training on Buckeye Lake. We have about 2 months of good boating left in the season. I have openings next week for training too.

We offer hands-on training on your boat or you can rent a boat for your training. Buckeye Lake Boat Rental is offering a 20% discount when you rent your boat for training and they'll offer you 20% off every time you rent a boat after you pass our class. Wow!!!

The best time for boating on Buckeye Lake is coming up in October. The fall changing colors is beautiful here. The angle of the sun shining on these trees on the Northeast end of the lake is stunning. If you time it just right, the reflection on the water is awesome. It’s only visible from this angle by boat. There’s very little boat traffic during the week and the waters can be very calm. I’ll share pictures when it starts this season.

As of 8 am Friday morning the lake is up 6"+ at the dam. Water is flowing over the sides of the lid. Keep an eye out for floating debris as runoff from entry creeks pushes trees and large branches into the lake .

It's Friday June 13 and the lake is about 5" above full pool. Rain is on the way for the next week.

Caution: Sunday, June 8, big rain storm last night over Buckeye Lake. There are huge trees/logs drifting out of the channel next to the East end swim area that are drifting towards Papa Boo's. The picture is from another FB group. Avoid going fast in this area until they sink or a crew moves them. You can't tell by this picture but the line of logs is over 100 yards long crossing the lake.
