Over the last few weeks we’ve seen riders from all over the country exploring Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and the Erie Canal by bike. Some have joined tours, some have rented bikes for the day, and some have simply wandered off with a route and a sense of adventure.

One of the strangest and most fascinating places in Niagara Falls isn’t the Falls at all.

Tucked away just a few blocks from the river is the Daredevil Museum, a collection of barrels, photographs, artifacts, and stories from the people who risked everything to challenge Niagara Falls.

I stopped by to meet Galen and take a look around. If you’re into local history, oddball attractions, or the wild side of Niagara’s past, it’s worth checking out.
