We had a blast hosting the team from The Raymond Corporation, a Toyota Industries Company, for a private Buffalo Wing Tour and team-building adventure!

The crew joined us from around New York State for a summertime ride through Buffalo, stopping at three different wing spots while digging into the history of our city’s most famous — and perhaps most misunderstood — culinary creation: the Buffalo chicken wing.

Great food, a little Buffalo history, plenty of laughs, and a chance to get out of the office and experience the city together. That’s our kind of corporate outing.

Today I drove to Rochester to pick up a couple bikes from riders who had completed the Erie Canal Trail.

Instead, I stumbled across the story of Sam Patch—America’s original daredevil.

In 1829, he survived a jump at Niagara Falls, became a national celebrity, and then came to Rochester to attempt an even bigger jump.

Today he’s buried just a few miles from where it happened.

Western New York is full of stories like this. You just have to know where to look.
